The Bennington County Conservation District is reaching out to invite you to the local “Statehouse to Farmhouse” event scheduled for Sept. 13th from 10am-12pm at Gammelgarden Creamery,  581 Quarry Hill Road in North Pownal, VT 05260. In case you’re unfamiliar with the annual event, it’s in its 4th year and organized by 15 food/farm organizations, including us!

There are 11 “State House to Farmhouse” events scheduled between Sept 9th and Sept 13th, and we hope you can join us for the Bennington County event!  These events statewide are meant to facilitate conversations vital to the success of our rural economy… fostering dialogue between farmers, farm workers and legislators.  If you are a part of one of these groups, we would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.  If not we ask that you help us by simply spreading the word, but reserving space at the event for others to participate.
